Derby City Comic Con show organizers have finalized next year’s contract with the Kentucky State Fair Board and the Kentucky International Convention Center. We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to Hall 1AB, our home for the first two years, once again in 2013.
Additional information on the dates for creator, press and vendor registration will be unveiled early next week.
Derby City Comic Con Raises $700 for Kosair Children’s Hospital
One of the goals of Derby City Comic Con is to give back to the artists and community. In 2012 we selected Kosair Children’s Hospital as the recipient of the 2012 Charity Auction and we’re pleased to have contributed $700 to thier very good work.
For more than a century, Kosair Children’s Hospital and its predecessor hospitals have cared for the children of Kentucky and Southern Indiana without regard to their families’ ability to pay. Kosair Children’s Hospital is Kentucky’s only full-service, free-standing pediatric care facility dedicated exclusively to caring for children and is an advocate for the health and well-being of all children. The 263-bed hospital, supported by the Children’s Hospital Foundation, serves as the primary pediatric teaching facility for the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

The new show director also lets everyone know what’s in store for the show next year and beyond.
